Vivek Couto co-founded Media Partners Asia (MPA) in 2001 and leads the company’s strategy, operations, and growth. With over 25 years of experience across media, entertainment, and telecoms, Vivek is recognized as one of Asia Pacific’s foremost industry experts and strategic advisors.


He has guided leading companies and institutions on investment, product, and content strategies across key markets in the region. Vivek also helped create the APOS Summit, Asia’s premier media and technology leadership forum, and launched ampd, MPA’s digital consumer insights platform, in 2019.


From 2018 to 2025, Vivek served on the Board of Directors of Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), contributing to national policy on media and digital innovation. Before founding MPA, he was a Senior Analyst at Paul Kagan Associates. Vivek holds a BSc and MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
